In 2004 after the devastating Tsunami in Sri Lanka, few friends got together and formed Aid Lanka Kids (ALK). The immediate mission was to help kids in Sri Lanka that were substantially affected by this disaster, both emotionally and financially.
Today, our mission continues to help the kids of Sri Lanka with multiple projects from helping orphanages to supporting cancer treatment. Aid Lanka Kids is a United States registered 501(C)(3) charitable organization that is run by a team of 100% volunteers.
Aid Lanka Kids works directly with CCC Foundation in Sri Lanka and Blissful Minds in Sri Lanka, that are both registered charitable organizations registered in Sri Lanka.
