Aid Lanka Kids partners with two registered Foundations in Sri Lanka to support multiple projects for kids in need in Sri Lanka. CCC Foundation in Sri Lanka launched the CCC Home – A transit home that offers free housing and meals for kids and their parents who arrive at the Cancer Hospital in Maharagama, Sri Lanka, for cancer treatment. Some of these kids and their parents stay at the CCC Home from few days to several months, depending on their health and treatment. ALK has been honored to partner with CCC and help build this transit home, along with continuous operational support.
Blissful Minds Foundation is a second Foundation registered in Sri Lanka that ALK Foundation often partners to support multiple projects. Some of these much needed projects focus on supporting education, health and housing for kids in remote village areas of Sri Lanka, that are often deprived of basic necessities. ALK is currently working on several tube-well projects to provide water to improve health & wellness amongst children in remote villages in Sri Lanka.
